On board · How we train

Live classes, our own app and someone who answers you.

Between classes we don't leave you on your own. That's where the real improvement happens.

Live classes over Zoom

Shared board, camera and voice over Zoom. Small groups at your level, and we analyse the students' own games.

Our own training app

Daily tasks, puzzle of the day, review of your mistakes and progress with levels and XP. Your coach sees what you do.

Built for competing

In the groups we work on what you need for your tournaments and go over the games you play in them.

FAQ

What people ask us

01What are the online classes like?

Over Zoom (camera and voice) with a shared board, in small groups at your level. All you need is a computer or tablet with an internet connection. We work on the group's topics, go over students' games and leave you daily tasks in our app.

02What language are the classes in?

Group classes are taught in Spanish. Private lessons can be in Spanish or English, at €15/hour, subject to availability.

03From what age do you teach children?

There's no minimum age: what matters is that the child can keep their attention for the whole class. We've spent years teaching in schools and clubs, and we organise the groups by level and age so everyone learns at their own pace.

04What level do I need?

None. The groups go from beginner to 1800 FIDE. Tell us your level in the form and we'll suggest the group that suits you best.

05How much do the classes cost?

Group classes cost €40/month for 1 h a week up to 1400, or €50/month for 1.5 h a week from 1400 to 1800. They include access to our app with daily tasks. You pay month by month, with no commitment. If you also want private lessons, they cost €15/hour, subject to availability.

06Can I join from outside Spain?

Yes. The classes are online, so it doesn't matter where you live. We schedule them on Spanish time (CET), so keep the time difference in mind.

07Do you offer private lessons?

Yes, as a complement to the groups: €15/hour to work on openings, go over your games and so on, in Spanish or English. They depend on our availability, and group students get priority.

08Do you prepare students for tournaments?

Yes. In the groups we work on what you need to compete, and if you want to prepare for a specific tournament or go over your games in depth, you can book a private lesson.

09How do I pay? Is there a minimum commitment?

You pay month by month, by PayPal or bank transfer. There's no commitment: you can change plan or stop whenever you like.

10What if I can't make a class?

Let us know in advance. Group classes have a fixed schedule, but we'll try to let you make up the session in another group at your level that week or the next.

11Who teaches my group?

Each group is assigned to one of the three siblings according to its level and age. If you'd prefer a particular coach, tell us when you get in touch and we'll take it into account.
